Your favorite pet detective may be coming back for more animal adventures
Jim Carrey is definitely a comedic icon in Hollywood, and if there is one role that has cemented him as an actor to follow, it is his iconic ‘90s role as pet detective Ace Ventura. Carrey played in the original movie and the movie’s successful sequel.
So, if you are a fan of both films, then you can get a little excited because it is being reported that the actor may reprise his titular role for “Ace Ventura 3.”
Morgan Creek Productions collaborated with Warner Bros. to produce and release the first two films, and the same production houses are said to be discussing the possibility of producing the third film.
Despite having publicly said that he did not want to reprise old movie roles, Carrey did reportedly express interest in reprising this particular character for the third time.
However, it is important to remember that nothing is confirmed or set in stone as of yet. So far, there are only talks of a third film, but the idea floating around is still enough to keep fans hopeful and excited for a third sequel.
Carrey’s latest role is Doctor Robotnik, Sonic’s nemesis, in the upcoming movie “Sonic the Hedgehog.” The movie was pushed back three months after the design of the title character received a lot of criticism.
