“Avengers 4” Trailer And Title Officially Released

The trailer alone will leave you feeling all the feels and excited for what’s to come.

The first trailer for Avengers 4, officially called “Avengers: Endgame,” has arrived, celebrating Marvel’s 10-year achievement in building its Cinematic Universe.

In the very first trailer for the fourth “Avengers” movie, Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) are scrambling to concoct a plan to defeat Thanos, the intergalactic bad guy who destroyed 50 percent of all life on the planet in the previous installment.

“Endgame” is set to be the climatic “endgame” (pun intended) of the journey through everything that has happened over the last decade — from Tony Stark’s first jaunt as Iron Man to the devastating battle against Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War,” which was released earlier this year.

Many of Earth’s mightiest heroes (and fans of the movies) are still dealing with the loss of their close friends and fellow heroes who faded into dust during Infinity War’s most climactic moment.

Marvel has kept details about “Avengers: Endgame” tightly under wraps since it began shooting last year, but thankfully the trailer does tease a little more of what’s to come in the heroes’ last stand against Thanos.

Avengers 4 will be the final film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s current generation. It comprises 22 films, including “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and the upcoming “Captain Marvel.”

Avengers 4 will also be the last Marvel movie for some key actors, including Chris Evans, who bid farewell to his character, Captain America, earlier this year on Twitter. Other original Avengers actors, including Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Chris Hemsworth haven’t said if they’re leaving following “Avengers: Endgame,” but with the way their contracts work, many fans suspect that other original heroes we started out with will also be stepping down from their long time role.

“Avengers: Endgame” will reportedly be released on April, which is earlier than expected. “Captain Marvel will precede it” and it will be followed by “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
