Forbes is back with yet another list dedicated to the top 100 in the world and can you guess who’s back?
The one and only Floyd Mayweather, making his appearance once again on the top of Forbes, securing him a spot as the highest paid entertainer of the world.
His comeback win over Connor McGregor was a box breaking record date that earning him an estimated $285 million for the fight.
He ranks over Oscar-winning star Clooney who earned an estimated $239 million after selling the Casamigos tequila company he co-founded to British spirits company Diageo in June 2017 and famous celebrity Kylie Jenner, who’s found a way into the cosmetic business and is making a killing.
And just to make things clear, Floyd Mayweather isn’t a stranger to a Forbes list. He’s ranked 1st among the World’s 100 Highest-Paid Athletes of 2018. Mayweather beat the two time reigning champion Cristiano Ronaldo, who fell down a few spots with an estimated $108 million.
A lot of people forget that Mayweather was also being mentioned as one of the richest entrepreneur under 40. Unfortunately, he’s 41 now but the numbers still add up. This just shows how Mayweather gained his nickname, Money-weather.
