George Clooney Auctioning Off Harley-Davidson Motorcycle For Charity

As part of the Home for Our Troops Veterans Day Celebrity Auction, George Clooney will be auctioning off his Harley Davidson motorbike. The 57-year-old actor will be saying goodbye to his 2017 Dresser Touring Ultra Limited FLHTK Harley Davidson as it has gone up for auction on an eBay listing set up by the Home for Our Troops charity. The money made from he auction will go towards building custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans.

Clooney reportedly decided to give up his bike after he was involved in a scary crash on his scooter in Italy in July. In the accident, the actor was thrown from the vehicle after colliding with a car, and suffered slight trauma to the pelvis and bruises to one knee and arm.

His wife Amal Clooney has reportedly tried to get her husband off of motorcycles for good, after he was hospitalized following the scooter crash.

The eBay page reveals that the bike will be signed by the actor on the gas tank, and can be personalized to the winning bidder. The auction opened on Monday, with bids starting at $25,000. While there are no bids as of yet, the auction for this motorcycle as well as other items in the Homes For Our Troops auction will run until Nov. 15.
