Katy Perry Is Forbes’ 2018 Highest-Paid Woman In Music

Back in 2015, Katy Perry appeared on the cover of Forbes after earning $135 million in a single year. Now, Forbes has unveiled its ‘Highest-Paid Women in Music’ list for 2018 on Nov. 19, and claiming the No. 1 spot by accumulating $83 million between June 2017 and June 2018 was none other than Perry.

Much of the total earnings came from the singer’s 80-date Witness tour, which is a direct parallel to when Perry topped the list in 2015 following her Prismatic tour.
Apart from being playing 80 dates of her Witness: The Tour, Perry also managed to find time to serve as a judge on ABC’s American Idol reboot.

Coming in second place with $80 million over the same period with her Reputation album and tour was Taylor Swift while Beyonce came in at third with $60 million.

Below is the full list:
1. Katy Perry ($83 million)
2. Taylor Swift ($80 million)
3. Beyoncé ($60 million)
4. Pink ($52 million)
5. Lady Gaga ($50 million)
