Mariah Carey has reportedly settled a lawsuit from her ex-manager, who accused her of walking around in the nude. The 48-year-old singer was sued by Stella Bulochnikov last April, claiming that Carey would often make her uncomfortable by walking around naked and alleging she was owed millions of dollars. Stella previously said she was suing for breach of contract, violation of the U.S. Civil Rights Act, and a violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act as she believed she was owed commissions on Mariah’s earnings.
Back in April 2018, a representative for Carey wrote in response to the lawsuit:
“Stella Bulochnikov was terminated from employment as Mariah’s manager due to failure to perform her job effectively and ill-serving her client. Stella was not under contract for employment. She has been spreading false rumors to any media outlet that will publish them. We won’t respond to lies and threats.”
Despite the dispute, after the two parted ways in November 2018, they vowed to “continue to support” one another.
An attorney for Stella told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: “The parties [have] reached a mutually agreed resolution to this matter.”
Page Six did not reveal whether Stopher accepted a cash settlement.
