Miami Is Gearing Up For Super Bowl 54
Get ready football fans because next year’s big game is in South Florida, and the city has already been preparing for years to host their 11th Super Bowl.
“We’ve been planning this for ten years,” Miami Super Bowl Host Committee chairman Rodney Barreto said. “We’ve been hoping to get back into hosting Super Bowls. This will be our 11th, record-breaking Super Bowl. So we’re very excited to bring it to Miami.”
Barreto explained that Miami was a great fit to be the next host city because of its diversity. He mentioned that Miami has the “best weather where yo can play football in February,” and also spoke of “all the great things Miami has to offer.”
During a news conference in Atlanta, Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos A. Giménez ceremoniously accepted the game ball as the next Super Bowl host city.
“It’s an honor for us and a pleasure for us to be hosting the final game of the NFL’s 100th season in Miami,” Gimenez said. “As the commissioner said, this will make Miami number one in terms of hosting Super Bowls. It will be our 11th Super Bowl.”
Super Bowl 54 will be played at the Hard Rock Stadium in 2020. Are you already pumped for next year’s game?
