Miley Cyrus' Billboard performance made everyone with the last name Cyrus cry

Miley Cyrus performed her new single “Malibu” on television for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.

Cyrus was introduced by introduced by sister Noah Cyrus and dad Billy Ray Cyrus (professionally just known as Cyrus now). Noah, who identified Miley as her favorite singer, introduced her big sis on stage, “for the first time in years with pants on.”

Cyrus, in accordance with her new, stripped down era, belted her new single in a casual white outfit with the help of an orchestra in denim jackets.

At the end of the performance, Cyrus got emotional, possibly because she misses her dogs, and started tearing up.
