Police Say Child Left At Corn Maze Was Just, “An Oversight”

A toddler was left behind, overnight at a corn maze this week, but is safe and with his family now.

The parents accidentally left their child overnight at a corn maze in West Jordan, Utah. One would imagine Sigmund Freud would have a hay day with this kid, pun intended.

A good Samaritan saw the 3-year-old wandering around, and sensed something wasn’t right. After the toddler was brought to a police officer, employees at the pumpkin patch went out into the maze looking for any site of the parents but to no avail.

The boy went back to the police station after the maze closed and it wasn’t until 7:40 the following morning when the mother called the station saying she couldn’t find her child.

According to police, the home where the child lives has many families living in one home. So, they see it as nothing more than an oversight at this point.
