The Star Wars BB-8 rolling droid toy is cute and spherical — so, naturally, someone decided that the toy could be created with pumpkins.
GeekDad user Randy Slavey has recreated the adorable BB-8 using the autumnal gourds, along with the help of some intricate carving and electronics. The little bot can actually roll its head around, just like the droid itself.
Though the process was time-consuming, Slavey writes on GeekDad the ends justified the means. “I was covered from head to toe in a find mist of pumpkin, and my hands will probably be orange for a week, but it was all worth it.”
