Steve Aoki Goes From Spinning Records to Pizza

International DJ Steve Aoki is known for his wild antics during his shows but will now be known for Pizzaoki.

Aoki opened a new pizza joint properly named Pizzaoki, a pizza delivery-only service near University of Southern California. Aoki’s new venture will team up with restaurant group Family Style Inc. that will offer innovative pies through delivery across the country.

They are planning on opening a retail flagship location, but have yet to reveal possible location sites. Aoki says, “We are starting off with five kitchens that will service 16 greater L.A. areas.” All the pizzas feature will be based of recipes that Aoki loves himself, while providing innovations to pizza recipes and incorporating new flavors.

There will also be a special pizza that features “Mama Aoki’s recipes” and offering unique names for pizza that are revolved around Aoki’s lifestyle. The pizzas will start at $10.99 with a variety of choices on their menu.

One of his pizzas “DIMMAK” is named after his affiliated record label that is topped with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, ground sausage, and homemade meatballs.
The traditional meat-lovers pizza will be the “Mayhem” pizza including cheese, pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, olives, onions, and peppers. “Just Hold On” is a simple cheese pizza with herb-infused dough and homemade pizza sauce.
