Students gossip about their teachers just as much as they gossip about each other. Teachers everywhere are very aware of this.
So math teacher Jason Seifert decided to take the rumor mill head on by confessing in front of an entire fifth grade class that he was indeed dating science teacher Ally Barker. And he didn’t stop there. In front of everyone, he got down on one knee and proposed.
“I spoke to my principal to make sure she thought it was appropriate to do and she was all for it,” Seifert told ABC News.
Craziness ensues, screaming ensues. All in all, an extremely touching moment.
