The Great “Villain Off”

What happens when two powerhouse actors decide to do their most maniacal and absurd impressions of classic movie villains. Hilarity ensues, of course. In the latest “Off Script” interview, Jamie Foxx and Benicio del Torro, who have both played villains in films like Baby Driver and Guardians of the Galaxy respectively, decided to sit down and see who could send chills up the other’s spine.

“Are villains misunderstood?” asks Foxx before they begin their Dracula vs. Hannibal Lector impersonations. The two laugh, citing the enjoyment of getting able to portray villains and do things on set that they could never do in person.

del Torro goes first, putting on a light, Transylvanian accent as he immediately steps into the shoes of the famed and fanged vampiric character. It’s amazing how quickly he can transform himself into a whole other being at the flip of the coin. But Foxx doesn’t let this stop him from firing back with a succulent and scary Hannibal. His wide smile, puncturing stare, and the really weird sounds he makes at the end all culminate into an impersonation that sends del Torro into hysterics.

The “Villain-Off” starts at 5:35 in the video, but the whole interview is full of humor that we know our readers at Daily Mulligan love to indulge in.
