You can take Carrie Mathison out of the CIA, but you can’t take the CIA out of Carrie Mathison.
And thank goodness for that.
Even though Homeland cleans the slate in Season 5 with a two year time jump — and a new job with a German philanthropist for Carrie — it seems like the former government worker isn’t quite past her days of toting guns and crazy international situations.
The Season 5 trailer teases the ghosts of Carrie’s past coming back to haunt — and possibly kidnap — her.
Meanwhile, Saul has definitely seen better days, as a huge security breach puts him in major hot water.
