It’s time to change the game at your next dinner party. Instead of doing the same old thing, Alex Grossman of Bon Appétit is here to show us how to up the ante at your next cocktail party. Don’t just stuff your face, reinvent your appetizer offerings with creatures of the sea.
Here are Alex’s three ways to offer your appetizers:
1. Easy: The one-can appetizer- Offer a can seafood board complete with one can of anchovies, or canned fish of your choosing, olive oil, salt and serve it with a hunk of bread. It’s easy and simple.
2. Medium:The statement fish appetizer- It’s the same concept as serving a hunk of cheese or meat, but with salmon! Serve the whole side of the smoked salmon on a board with crackers or bread, even some different toppings.
3. Hard:The seafood platter- Start with crushed ice and a deep platter. Go big with this one…crab claws, crab legs, oysters, etc.
