Remembering the young voice actress
Twenty-one-year-old voice actress Andrea Arruti, well known for her work as Neeko in “League of Legends” Latin America server, has passed away. The reasons for her death have not yet been disclosed.
A prolific voice actress in the dubbing industry, she also voiced characters in animated TV shows such as Diamond Tiara in “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic,” and Sid Chang in “The Casagrandes.” Arruti also dubbed Bettany (Bethany) in “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level” and the Spanish versions of Cabba and Cocoa Amaguri in “Dragon Ball Super.” However, her biggest work to date is doing the voiceover of Elsa in the Latin American version of “Frozen.”
A friend and fellow voice actor Emilio Trevino posted on Instagram sharing his condolences and thoughts.
“No doubt sometimes life surprises us in strong and unexpected ways…” He goes on to say that he will remember all the beautiful things he got to live with Arruti because “those are the ones that really matter at the end of everything.”
