Gwyneth Paltrow, 46, tied the knot with Glee producer Brad Falchuck last month, and has now given her first interview on their marriage. The two married in a star-studded wedding attended by top Hollywood names including Steven Spielberg, Cameron Diaz and Robert Downey Jr.
Paltrow, who was previously married to Coldplay’s Chris Martin, really opened up in her interview, gushing that married life feels “different” in older age.
In the first digital issue of GLAMOUR, Paltrow said: “It’s fantastic. I feel so lucky and I am so grateful. “It’s different to be in your mid-forties; you do it again and bring all your experience, your pain, your happiness, suffering – everything. It’s actually very heartening, I feel very optimistic!”
The piece’s author, Josh Newis-Smith noted that Paltrow’s “energy and warmth is palpable,” to which the actress paid the compliment forward to her husband, saying: “Well, you have my husband to thank for that!”
As many of Paltrow’s followers know, she is the owner of a lifestyle company, Goop, which puts women’s sexuality in the forefront. Paltrow even gave audiences some insight in her own sex life.
“Women should have a great and satisfying sex life! I think that sexual health is important for a women’s overall health.”
