How to Become a Spider-Man Super Villain

Dr. Otto Gunther Octavius (better known as “Doc Ock”) is one of Spider-Man’s most nefarious villains.

The brainiacs over at MIT — we’ll go ahead and assume they’re comic book fans, too — created a prototype for a set of robotic limbs that assist workers in building airplanes. They also give the wearer a most-striking resemblance to Octavius. Exhibit A:
