Soon you will be able to fight evil by moonlight and win love by daylight!
With a multitude of chapters of the manga and anime episodes under her name, along with global fame, it’s no wonder that celestial starlet Sailor Moon would eventually get her own theme park attraction at some point. What was once a dream is now starting to become reality because Universal Studios Japan unveiled its summer focus on anime “Universal Cool Japan” and Sailor Moon will be getting her own 4D movie/ride.
The official name of the ride is “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon The Miracle 4-D: Moon Palace Chapter,” and from spoilers and reveals, the ride shows Sailor Moon and all the Sailor Scouts attending a dance with Tuxedo Mask. But like every Sailor Moon storyline, the fun night is short-lived as their festivities are cut short by a new threat – a woman what appears to be fused with a disco ball.
Aside from Sailor Moon, as part of its focus on anime, Universal Studios Japan will also be highlighting other popular anime properties: “Attack On Titan,” “Detective Conan,” “Lupin The Third,” “Neon Genesis Evangelion,” and “Godzilla.”
So if you’re a fan of Sailor Moon (and any other anime for that matter) and just so happen to be in Japan, why not try out the new ride and experience the famous works in a brand new light?
