This Looks Like a Regular Painting Until You See It from Another Angle

This painting is not what it seems and it’s only when you look at it from a different angle that it becomes apparent. The artwork is known as a “reverspective” and was originally created by British artist Patrick Hughes. This particular artwork was done by Brian Weavers and is currently on display at the Gallery at Ice in Windsor, UK.

“Reverspectives” are optical illusions on 3-dimensional surfaces where the parts of the picture which seem farthest away are actually the nearest (physically speaking).
