Justin Bieber throws tantrum after Today Show performance

Pop star Justin Bieber appears upset after his performance on the Today Show over placement of the camera during a live broadcast.
Justin Bieber gets a Draco Malfoy ‘do: Pop star unveils shock of bleach blond hair on Today Show before throwing a tantrum on camera
Justin Bieber unveiled a shock of bleach blond hair during a morning performance on the Today Show in New York on Thursday.
The singer’s look was reminiscent of the famous Harry Potter villain Draco Malfoy.
The 21-year-old sought approval from the crowd, asking: ‘You guys like the hair?’
The audience cheered and screamed with excitement at the sight of his platinum tresses, which he said took two and a half hours to achieve.
Of course, it’s not Justin’s first dalliance with the bleached look – he briefly had light hair in late 2014.
On Thursday he performed a string of songs, including hit What Do You Mean?, Where Are Ü Now, Boyfriend and an acoustic version of Baby.
Despite the threat of rain, Justin kicked off his performance with his new song and tried to impress with his dance moves.
Putting in his all, the pop star was left enraged after he felt like the Today Show cameras were not catching his moves.
As the show went to break, Justin explained his frustrations – perhaps not realizing microphone was on.
Walking up to the camera, the star said: ‘The camera’s there the whole time, I might as well not even dance.
The star lamented, ‘What do I even do this for if they are just going to do…’ before the feed was quickly cut to black and the program went to advertisements.
Clearly the camera crew had been warned as the star returned to the stage again to perform Where Are Ü Now and Boyfriend.
With inclement weather setting in, the star was still determined to show off his dancing skills and incorporated the wet slippery surface into his routine with some controlled slides.
The dancing combined with the weather may have been to blame for some sound issues, but Justin more than redeemed himself with an acoustic performance for his original hit Baby.
Every poncho-clad fan in the audience – many of who slept out in the plaza overnight – seemed to be singing along.
The performance comes on a big day for Justin, who was presented an award for being a Guinness World record holder.
His new hit What Do You Mean, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 100 chart and at 21, that No. 1 makes him the youngest artist to debut a single straight to the top of the charts.
