Now You Won’t Need To Go For A Beer Run
Cracking open a cold one just got a whole lot easier! Convenience store chain 7-Eleven will be rolling out delivery of beer and cider products in select markets around the country.
As part of its new feature in the 7NOW app, the company will test the new beer delivery service in 18 markets – Austin, TX; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas; Los Angeles, CA; Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, FL; New York, N.Y.; Norfolk-Portsmouth, VA.; Orlando-Daytona, FL.; Phoenix, AZ.; Portland, OR.; Sacramento, CA.; San Antonio, TX; San Diego, CA.; San Francisco, CA.; Seattle-Tacoma, WA.; St. Louis, MO; and Tampa, FL.
Besides just Bud and Miller Lite, 7-Eleven will offer Dos Equis, Modelo, Corona, Coors Light, Angry Orchard, Stella Artois, Dogfish Head, New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale, Brooklyn Defender, Blue Moon, and New Belgium Voodoo Ranger, all of which will be available for delivery.
7-Eleven is the biggest company to enter the beer delivery marketplace thus far. Several apps, such as Drizly and Saucey, already offer the service, but if the convenience store chain expands, they could face considerable pressure.
Aside from the beer delivery service, the 7Now app also offers chips, dip, pizzas and even Advil.
