New Developments With ‘Black Panther 2’
Previously, there were rumors that Michael B. Jordan would be returning for the second installment of Marvel’s “Black Panther,” but according to reports, it was just that: a pure rumor. Although the thought of not being able to see such a dynamic villain back on the big screen is a little sad, Marvel Studios decided to bring back the excitement by recently sharing that they may have decided upon a villain for the follow-up.
Currently, the untitled “Black Panther 2” is in pre-production, and Marvel Studios has been rather tight-lipped, even with little details revealed of the project. However, a source seems to have told news outlets that the plot will revolve around Wakanda coming under attack from another ruler looking to take it under their control.
In the comics, Black Panther has many different enemies, some of which are recurring in the series. And although Marvel has been going back and forth trying to decide which villain from the comics to include, it looks like they may have decided on Namor to be the main antagonist of the film.
Namor is a Sub-Mariner – the son of a human sea captain and a princess of the undersea kingdom of Atlantis. The villain is known to have super-strength, aquatic abilities, superhuman powers, and the ability to fight.
