Joanna Gaines Announces New Coffee Shop Magnolia Press

Joanna Gaines fixes up her own coffee shop

If you are a fan of all things Chip and Janna Gaines, then you are in for a real treat because the power coupe are opening up a library-inspired coffee shop this fall. Earlier this year, the “Fixer Upper” couple revealed they would be opening up the coffee shop, Magnolia Press, in Waco, Texas, which will feature industrial accents and rich colors.

The coffee shop will be located just down the block from the Magnolia Market at the Silos, a popular shopping center that includes Magnolia Market as well as Magnolia Table.

The coffee shop is slated to open doors this coming October or November, and according to Joanna in a YouTube video for Magnolia’s channel, the shop is halfway complete. Joanna also revealed the inspiration for the name Magnolia Press. In her YouTube video, the “Fixer Upper” star said that the name was inspired by one method of making a good, rich cup of coffee via a French press.

Also speaking on the design, Joanna said: “I really wanted it to just feel really cozy, kind of a blend of that library feeling but also a little bit of industrial.”

Joanna also added that she wants guests to “feel a sense of history and familiarity — almost like stepping into a place they’ve been before.”
