Time to get cozy put on a Christmas movie and sip a delicious hot drink!
Everybody loves hot chocolate on a cold day because it just warms them up from their head to their toes. The rich and creamy drink is flavorful and yummy, but for anyone who makes it at home, they know that it can get a little messy. Most hot chocolates are now sold in powder form to eliminate the hassle of choosing and mixing different types of chocolates and getting a sticky mess everywhere.
But Target is selling a new creation where fans of the sweet drink can make their hot chocolate with ease while also packing in a special little surprise.
The retailer is selling Hot Chocolate Drink Bombs that are little chocolate orbs that come in white, dark or milk chocolate filled with marshmallows. All you need to do is simply drop the orb into a mug and pour steaming milk on top. The orb will explode and reveal all its creamy, chocolatey goodness all without the mess of powder.
A three-pack of the bombs sells for $3.99, but they’re currently sold out online. However, you can always check your local Target.
But that’s not the only store getting in on the holiday fun. Trader Joe’s is selling a snowman that melts into the perfect cup of cocoa. Similar to the Hot Chocolate Drink Bombs, the Hot Cocoa Snowman—made with a black top hat, an orange nose, and black eyes—melts into a decadent cup of hot chocolate when placed in a mug of warm milk. And to top it all off, mini marshmallows and milk chocolate pop out to overflow your cup with an extra sweet surprise.
Trader Joe’s is selling the Hot Cocoa Snowman for just $1.99 each, making it the perfect stocking stuffer.
So, when the weather outside is frightful, a mug of hot cocoa is so delightful!
