The new series is scheduled to start filming early next year and premiering in fall 2021. The new series will pick up from the open-ended finale when Dexter goes to live a solitary life as a lumberjack.
Fans have called for a reboot of the show for years as they left the show with an open ending for a possible continuation of the “Dexter” storyline. “Dexter” fans will be excited to see the return of the show in 2021.
