Bill Nye explains climate change in 90 seconds using only emoji

Bill Nye the Science Guy is back to explain climate change using a language everyone can understand — emoji. It’s climatology emojified!

To put it simply, there are a lot of people on this planet. Since 1705, the world’s population has grown from one and a half billion to over seven billion people.

“That’s the problem,” Bill points out. “There’s billions of people breathing and burning the same thin atmosphere.”

As a result, carbon dioxide concentration in the earth’s atmosphere has increased at an alarming speed. This is making the earth’s climate warmer.

Despite these trends, Nye is optimistic in our ability to find new ways of harnessing energy, including solar power and wind.

“With the right attitude, we could, dare I say it — change the world.”
