'SkiFree' comes to glorious, bloody life in this short horror film

Skiing isn’t for the faint of heart, as any fan of SkiFree will tell you.

The 25-year-old Windows pack-in game had a special surprise for any players who made it past the 2000-meter mark of its endless downhill slope: a homicidal Abominable Snow Monster, built to tear a slow skier to pieces. It looks goofy, but it’s a terror.

Just ask Andrew McMurry, creator of this great, all-too-brief short that offers a real-life take on SkiFree‘s Abominable Snow Monster. For the record, we would totally watch a SkiFree feature-length horror movie.
