Ed Sheeran Teams Up With K-Pop Boyband BTS
BTS’ highly anticipated Map of the Soul: Persona album is set to drop Friday, and the group has revealed some last-minute news but very exciting news!
Along with their single “Boy With Luv” featuring Halsey, BTS’ EP will also feature a long-awaited Ed Sheeran collaboration.
The new collaboration says that “Make It Right” is a “delicate” song collaboration with Ed Sheeran. One of the members of BTS, Suga, tweeted back in December a teaser of the new song with Sheeran saying, “This is for you.”
The song is to be featured on BTS’ upcoming album, ‘Map of the Soul: Persona,’ and the album focuses on the maturing band and the newfound understanding of love with their growing popularity and success. The main message is about finding joy in love and reaching out to the world.
“We find strength and happiness in every moment,” BTS said in a statement, “You’ve given us so much love, and now we want to get to know our fans more. We filled our album with our genuine feelings and the messages that we want to share with you.”
The seven-member K-Pop boyband is set to perform “Boy With Luv” for the first time on “Saturday Night Live” following the album release this weekend.
‘Map of the Soul: Persona’ is the K-pop group’s first release of 2019 and follows last year’s Billboard 200 chart-topping albums ‘Love Yourself: Tear’ and ‘Love Yourself: Answer.’
