Robert Downey Jr. has the sweetest heart!
It’s hard to get all the characters if not almost all of them from the Marvel Cinematic Universe together in one place, but Robert Downey Jr. did it. In an adorable behind-the-scenes photograph from the Marvel set, the man behind the Iron Man suit revealed how the awesome ladies of Marvel got treated to a special lunch while filming “Avengers: Endgame.”
Details of the lunch were kept under wraps to avoid any potential spoilers from Endgame.
The actor gathered Evangeline Lilly (Wasp), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), and Zoe Saldana (Gamora) for the celebration, which he later posted a photo on Instagram Wednesday.
“#tbt #throwback#flashback to the #Women of @marvelstudios #mcu lunch I had the pleasure of hosting… #girlpower #epic #bts,” Downey captioned the two photos from the special lunch.
Probably the best part of the photos though – aside from Robert Downey Jr. actually hosting the lunch – is the fact that some of the actresses were still in character and costume.
Since the movie’s record-shattering $1.2 billion opening weekend worldwide, the stars from the movie have been posting throwback shots.
