The controversial social media star to appear on ‘American Idol’
The long-running singing competition show “American Idol” released teasers for the upcoming season with a special surprise audition by Claudia Conway. If you don’t know who Claudia Conway is then you might recognize her last name as she is the daughter of the former Trump administration counselor Kellyanne Conway.

Claudia Conway is known for her unfiltered TikTok videos gaining a lot of attention shortly after she tested positive for COVID-19. Claudia filmed a conversation with her mother shortly after former President Trump tested positive for COVID-19 and infected several of his staff members including Kellyanne Conway.
The TikTok video shows Claudia arguing with her mom that she lied to her about testing positive for COVID-19 and Kellyanne argues with her that she didn’t know she tested positive. Shortly after Claudia posted these videos on TikTok, Twitter was trending #ClaudiaConway but shortly after Claudia remained quiet on social media until a couple of weeks ago.
Claudia was informed on social media that intimate photos were released from her account with Claudia believing her mother might have posted them. Claudia claims that her phone was taken by her mom and the photos were posted shortly after with many believing Kellyanne was responsible.

After investigating the matter Claudia believes her mother’s claims that she didn’t post them and the phone was hacked. Claudia posted on TikTok that her mom didn’t post the pictures and hackers were responsible. Claudia posted statements on TikTok saying she’ll be taking a break from social media to focus on repairing her relationship with her mom but Cladia continues to post multiple videos daily.
Despite claiming to take a break from social media it seems Claudia spent this time being on social media and preparing for her audition on “American Idol.” Claudia auditioned for “American Idol” back in November claiming she can play up to eight musical instruments and has a background in musical theater.
Claudia’s audition will be featured on the series premiere Sunday at 8/7c p.m. and will kick off the new season of “American Idol.”
