Your favorite video game is entering the world of manga
The world of Animal Crossing continues to captivate the imagination of players around the globe, but the newest edition of the game is about to get even better. Announced in the latest issue of Coro Coro Magazine, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will get a brand-new manga series that will be released in Japan.
The series will be drawn by Kokonasu Runpa and is expected to be released in the next issue sometime next month. To tease fans and increase their excitement for the new series, a small one-shot preview of the manga was released in the current issue of Coro Coro magazine, and it shows off what will likely be the main characters of the series.
Everyone’s island favorites like Tom Nook, Isabelle, and Blathers all make an appearance, as well as Harvey, Wisp, and series newcomer C.J. No details have been released about the manga’s storyline, but fans are still excited because the deserted island life opens doors to many possible story opportunities.

Another small manga series was previously released earlier this year. Called “Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Carefree Island News,” the series was released in an effort to promote the game.
Another short series featuring everyone’s favorite Nook’s Cranny shop owners—Tommy and Timmy—was also released by Nintendo on their website to promote the game. The island life is coming to life in a new way and we all can’t wait for the new manga series to drop!
