When these South Carolina homeowners heard banging noises in the middle of the night on Sunday, they thought they were getting robbed. Totally chill though! It’s just a huge gator somehow on the second floor of their house!
According to WCBD South Carolina, the alligator had to “climb a 15 foot staircase, break through a screen, climb through a doorway, and then push furniture out of the way.”
Apparently, this kind of behavior isn’t unusual for this time of year. Gators come out of hibernation in springtime, and start looking for “warmer waters,” which is just a scientific term for “a well designed and furnished outdoor porch.”
