It’s been 24 years since “Bad Boys” premiered, but it seems our favorite renegade cops are back!
After a 16-year hiatus, “bad boys” Marin Lawrence and Will Smith have teamed up once again to make “Bad Boys for Life.” The third installment in the Bad Boys series will be released on January 17, 2020, and although this may seem like a long way off, the trailer just dropped and can hold fans over for the time being.
This time, Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) reunite on the mean streets of Miami, and the new trailer shows a plot that is very funny, familiar, and comfortable. The plot will reportedly revolve around police inspector Marcus Burnett Mike Lowery who is apparently struggling to find himself amid a midlife crisis, and a Romanian mob boss named Armando Armas (Jacob Scipio).
According to Production Weekly, Armando is said to be a “cold-blooded killer” motivated by revenge. The cast is also joined by Paola Nuñez who will play the role of Rite, the criminal psychologist who is the newly appointed head of AMMO and Mike’s former girlfriend.
The third installment of the “Bad Boys” series was directed by duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, best known for their work on the crime drama “Black” and FX series “Snowfall.”
