Remember Insidious? That film was terrifying enough with the monsters confined to a 2D screen on the other side of a theatre; now imagine what it would be like if you were actually inside the film, and the demons were coming at you from every possible direction.
With the aid of a virtual reality headset, Anthony Smith’s friend Jason didn’t have to imagine. Smith captured Jason’s reactions — which included hysterical giggling and terrified yelling — in the clip above, proving beyond a doubt that the combination of virtual reality and horror films is not for the faint of heart.
Just watching Jason jump and scream is scary enough for us, to be honest.
