If you’re a fan of superheroes, then you were probably left in utter shock after watching “Avengers: Infinity War.” the climax of the movie left them gasping for breath.
Ever since the climatic moment when Thanos snapped his fingers wearing the Infinity Gauntlet killing half of the living things in the universe, fans have been waiting in anticipation, reading speculations and theories about the fate of their favorite superheroes.
But fans have been left especially triggered after the first trailer for the upcoming “Avengers: Endgame” dropped earlier this month.
Directors Joe and Anthony Russo had gone on record to say that the title of the fourth Avengers movie had not been spoken in any previous Marvel film, but eagle eyed fans found this to be incorrect because the film’s title was revealed to be Avengers: Endgame at the end of the first trailer. Additionally, the word ‘endgame’ was first spoken in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the second Avengers movie, “Age of Ultron.”
One fan on Reddit pointed out the scene where Iron Man and Captain America discuss the ‘endgame’ and suggests that this might be foreshadowing the future. In the scene, Tony says, “A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space. We’re standing 300 feet below it. We’re the Avengers. We can bust arms dealers all the livelong day but that up there, that’s… That’s the endgame. How were you guys planning on beating that?”
So far, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Nebula, Rocket Racoon and Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye aka Ronin, are all alive. This surviving half will most likely stage a final stand against Thanos in” Endgame,” as was hinted by Stark all those years ago, but the fate of some are unknown.
But what we do know is that among the superheroes and other characters that passed away after the snap, Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders will return as leaked pictures from the sets of Avengers 4 have already made rounds the web.
We also know that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will probably come back to life as the studio is set to release the first trailer of the upcoming film “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” in early 2019. Add to that Black Panther, played by Chadwick Bosman, will also be revived because the studio has confirmed a Black Panther sequel.
