One Of The Best Holidays Of The Year
It’s National Doughnut Day and what better way to celebrate than to snag a few free doughnuts from participating locations? Now that is a deal that is too sweet to pass up!
Dunkin Donuts is set to fuel America on more than just coffee on this special day. All day the franchise will be giving out free doughnuts with the purchase of any beverage, while supplies last.
Krispy Kreme will also be giving out customer’s favorite doughnuts for free and no purchase is necessary. However, one person is limited to one doughnut only.
Even Walmart is participating, and customers can swing by the bakery to grab a little sweet treat. Walmart is giving away 1.2 million doughnuts at 4,000 stores across the nation, though the limit is one per customer at participating locations.
The Salvation Army is another participating location, partnering with baked good brand Entenmann’s to deliver sweet and delicious doughnuts at select areas around the country. However, most of the free doughnut events are for veterans.
But, for those who want to be bold and maybe start the summer off in a fun way with their kids, why not make doughnuts right at home? Homemade doughnuts are a fun and tasty do-it-yourself project, and kids will certainly enjoy decorating and flavoring the irresistible fried pastries.
