Cheryl has reportedly signed a new record deal with dance label 3Beat, as she prepares for her long-awaited musical comeback. The label is home to DJs Sigma, Martin Jensen and Kungs and part of Universal.
After a four-year hiatus, the 35-year-old British songstress chose the label, as it would give her more creative control over the music.
Cheryl’s long-awaited comeback is set to kick off with a performance of her upcoming single “Love Made Me Do It” as well as other tracks at Hits Radio Live in Manchester on Nov. 25.
A source close to the singer said: “Cheryl has been working on music for the past six months. The recording process has been driven solely by her and she wanted to retain as much of the creative control as possible.”
Cheryl also decided to partner with 3Beat as the label has had huge success in the singles chart in the past few years. And because the label will allow the singer to test the waters, Cheryl will release a string of singles before committing to an album.
Fans have long been waiting for Cheryl’s return to music. The star’s new album will reportedly address her relationship with ex Liam Payne, including their split just over a year after welcoming their son Bear.
