Chris Brown‘s baby mama, Nia Guzman, has gone back to court demanding more money for raising their 4-year-old daughter. The move has set off an explosive battle between the two parents, with Nia claiming that Chris earned an average of $4,269,067 over the last two years, meaning he can afford to support their daughter Royalty with $21,000 monthly.
The hip-hop star has been paying $2,500 monthly and $4,000 for the cost of hiring a nanny who just so happens to be Guzman’s mom. Guzman, who claims to make around $400 monthly, says the current amount is not enough to provide for her child.
Brown isn’t having any of Nia’s new demands though and is was ready to fight her in court for allegedly trying to make money off him.
As reported by TMZ, a Californian judge struck out a request made by Guzman regarding custody of their daughter. Guzman was also denied full custody of their child and she has been ordered to pay back the singer the attorney fees he gave her.
The judge further shut down Guzman’s request for having Chris’ visits monitored, denying his mother the right to see the child and to have him submit to drug tests. Instead, the judge maintained a joint custody arrangement with Brown getting his daughter 12 days a month.
The judge also demanded Guzman return the $20,000 that Brown was previously ordered to pay her to cover her legal fees.
