The Cleveland Indians’ “fireworks guy” was devastated after setting off fireworks for an opposing team home run in a game between Cleveland and the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday night.
At Cleveland home games, a home run (by Cleveland) is celebrated with fireworks. Fireworks should not go off if the opposing team hits a home run, because typically that is a bad thing.
That being said, the crowd’s intense reaction to the human-error caused Cleveland’s fireworks guy to become seemingly and inconsolably upset with himself, as seen in the video below.
You’d think the crowd would see the fireworks guy’s pure mortification with his own actions and forgive him, but fans just keep on booing.
