Japanese fans of soda pop will get to tantalize their taste buds with this new flavor!
Coca-Cola is not decorating their bottles with just cherry blossoms this year; in fact, they are introducing new seasonal released called “world firsts,” and starting Jan. 20, they will be adding the world’s first strawberry flavored Coca-Cola.
The new flavored drink is being marketed as “Drink a strawberry reward” because the drink adds a sweet strawberry flavor to the classic Coca-Cola formula.
Strawberries are seasonal in Japan and considered a popular treat, which is why Coca-Cola is coming out with a strawberry flavor as a limited-edition seasonal flavor. The shrink label features a pink background with pictures of the fruit and bubble accents.
Cocoa-Cola Japan is always fast-moving and working on being more inventive than before. In 2016 alone, the company released about 100 new products into the market. The brand is known for coming out with fresh flavors and seasonal varieties that are unique to Japan. As a result, Coca-Cola Japan is always looking to balance the country’s rich cultural tradition with a signature style of Japanese innovation.
But in other tasty drink news, Starbucks Japan also kicked off the new year with a Hojicha Cream Frappuccino and the Hojicha Cream Latte. It’s the brand’s first seasonal release of 2020. Hojicha is a type of Japanese green tea that is roasted until it reaches a reddish-brown hue. It also has a bolder smokier flavor than other green teas. The new drinks combine five different blends of hojicha, white mocha syrup, whipped cream, and brown sugar.
Both the Coca-Cola Strawberry drink and the Hojicha Cream drinks sound delicious, don’t they?
