The Disney Cruise Line will be returning to Greece for the first time in five years next year, the company announced as part of its seasonal reveal of new itineraries.
Bookings for Disney’s Greek cruises and other summer 2020 sailings will open to the public on March 7. Disney’s Castaway Club members will be able to book earlier, based on their club status.
The announcement revealed that the Disney Magic will sail from Rome on one 12-night and two nine-night cruises to Greece, stopping at ports including Piraeus, the gateway to Athens; Katakolon, near ancient Olympia; and the islands of Santorini, Mykonos and Crete. Other destinations on the cruises will include Sicily or Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Before the Greek cruises, the Magic will be sailing from Barcelona visiting ports in Italy. After sailing the Mediterranean, the Magic will head north, sailing from Dover and Copenhagen, with calls including Gdansk, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Helsinki, Bruges, or Amsterdam, among other ports.
Additional cruises will including sailings through the Norwegian fjords and around the British Isles.
If a European cruise isn’t your cup of tea, the Disney Wonder will spend summer 2020 sailing to Alaska, with seven-night itineraries from Vancouver, Canada, sailing to Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan in Alaska. The Disney Dream and Fantasy will sail the Caribbean during the summer of 2020, with three-, four-, and five-night Bahamian cruises, including stops on Castaway Cay.
