Disney+ Will Be Offered On Two Platforms

A lot of changes are coming to Netflix in the future, with the streaming service losing major shows such as “The Office,” “Friends” and all Disney content. This is because new streaming services are popping up, one of which is Disney+, a new and upcoming streaming service by The Walt Disney Company to cater to all Disney content.

Because Disney owns the rights to their work, the company is moving its content that was once on Netflix to Disney+, but in recent reports, viewers will be able to stream Disney media on Hulu as well.

Disney+ will be featured as an add-on to Hulu once it launches in November. Hulu’s SVP of Originals Craig Erwich said that Disney+ will be available on Hulu during his speech at the Television Critics Association.

The service will cost $6.99 a month and $69.99 a year on its own. It is unknown what the price will be as an add-on for Hulu.

Since acquiring 20th Century Fox Disney has owned the majority stake in Hulu so it is an obvious move for Disney to want to take advantage of the situation and offer more ways and content through different outlets.

Will be subscribing to Disney+ once it is released?
