Dogs Know When You’re Sad

Did anybody ever tell you that dogs are a mans best friend? We’ve become so close to our animals that dogs are now starting to sense when something is wrong with their owners.

A lot of pets like dogs are used for comforting so having a dog care for you when you’re down and sad is nothing new. They get a cuddle in and lick you on the cheek a few times and go on to do whatever else they were planning to do with the rest of their day.

A new study has found that dogs make eye contact to look for cues to figure things out. Checking to see if a dog is paying attention is a great to way to know if the dog understands you as an owner.

Dogs can tell when you’re sad, mad and even afraid. Depending on which one you’re feeling, the dog may act different around you.

If you’re scared the dog might try to protect you by becoming very territorial, other dogs might get scared with you.
