Drive’N’Drag Queen Show Postpone Christmas Events Days Before Beginning Of Tour

Drive’N’Drag show postponed days before tour launch

The drag community has struggled through the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic with a majority of queens out of work during the lockdowns and more queens are getting creative on entertaining fans with unique events. The creative agency behind the “RuPaul’s Drag Race” live performance tours, Voss Events, planned on bringing some much-needed joy for the upcoming holidays with a special drive-in event tour starting tomorrow on December 1 but announced the postponement of the event today.

Despite planning for this holiday event for months in advance, Voss Events announced today that they will be postponing the event due to escalating circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a difficult decision for Voss Events as they planned this event for months and had to cancel only days before the beginning of the tour.

Voss Events express their concern for the safety of all the participants and don’t want to encourage travel during this time. Voss Events reassures current ticket holders will have their tickets automatically transferred to the new alternative date starting February 19.

The new tour schedule will coincide with the current schedules with the nine cities for two nights featuring two performances at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. with tickets for the new dates currently available on the Voss Events website. Each ticket covers a car for two people with an add-on option for additional participants.

Voss Events has yet to confirm if there will be any new cast members but the show will feature queens from “RuPaul’s Drag Race” including Aquaria, Kameron Michaels, Plastique Tiara, Asia O’Hara, Naomi Smalls, Violet Chachki, and host Biana Del Rio. The Drive’N’Drag 2021 tour will feature a new exciting theme and will also feature additional cities to be announced in the near future.

Here is a list of the cities and new 2021 dates featured on the tour:

– Atlanta, GA (venue TBA) on Feb. 19-20
