Dealing with a plumbing problem is never fun and games, but Florida resident Marian Lindquist got quite the surprise when a clogged toilet turned into a bizarre situation.
The 51-year-old probate lawyer called the plumber when she had difficulties unclogging her toilet on Sunday. It turned out that the problem was an iguana, who had somehow become wedged in the pipe.

“I heard the plumber scream, and I ran over to our bathroom where she was,” Lindquist told ABC News. “I didn’t understand that there was some big obstruction in the toilet … I just thought it didn’t work for some random reason, but not because of an iguana.”
Plumber Alisa Scott told Local 10 that the lizard probably got in through a roof vent and then got stuck while trying to find a way out.
Sadly, the iguana didn’t make it. “It all worked out except for the lizard. There was nothing we could do to save it,” Lindquist told ABC News. “This whole situation was just shocking.”
Fortunately, Lindquist’s daughter, Lily, took it upon herself to go up to the roof and put screens on all the vents to prevent any unwanted encounters or unfortunate incidents for other local reptiles.
