Famous Cookie Companies Teams Up With ‘Game Of Thrones’
Get ready to snack on some delicious Oreos while watching the final season of “Game of Thrones”!
The new “GoT” cookies will feature four embossed cookie designs, highlighting the Great Houses still battling for the Iron Throne and the enemy White Walkers beyond the wall. Other than that, not much else changes — they’re still the same yummy Oreos everyone knows and loves.
These limited-edition Oreos feature the insignias from all the houses of “Games Of Thrones” including House Targaryen, House Stark, House Lannister, and the Night King. The packaging keeps to the GOT theme in all black with the Oreo label donning the signature GOT logo font.
However, fans of the show will want to get their hands on a pack as soon as possible because the cookies are only available for a limited time across the country, while supplies last.
“At Oreo, we are always looking for new ways to playfully tap into emerging trends and pop culture,” Oreo brand manager Kamila De Maria said in an e-mail. “‘Game of Thrones’ is one of the most talked about TV shows of a generation, so partnering with HBO was a great way to bring something unexpected to our classic cookie as a tribute to the show’s legacy.”
Season 8 of the hit HBO show premieres on April 14.
