Jennifer Aniston teases “Friends” fans
It’s been years since “Friends” has been off the air, but the actors are still friends in real life, and in one single Instagram post, they were all able to show the world that their bond still holds strong.
In her first-ever Instagram post, Jennifer Aniston reignited an age-old debate among “Friends” fans in the comments. The 50-year-old actress pretty much broke the Internet when she joined the social media platform, sharing an image of her with the entire cast of the hit 90s sitcom.
In the caption of her post, Aniston wrote, “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM.”
In the comments of her post, former “Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristowe asked, “ARE YOU AND ROSS STILL TOGETHER!!???”
Aniston answered the question about her character, Rachel Green, and her post-finale relationship with David Schwimmer’s character, Ross Geller, and let’s just say it sparked quite the debate.
“Well we’re on a break,” Aniston replied.
The word “break” in the series is pretty much as iconic as when Ross yells “pivot.” In Season 3, Episode 15, Ross became too jealous of Rachel’s co-worker, Mark, and after getting fed up, she suggested they take a “break.”
A distraught Ross later found himself in bed with the girl from the local copy store, which ended the Ross-Rachel relationship when Rachel found out. Though Ross and Rachel reconcile in the season finale, the thought of whether they were on a break or whether Ross cheated became a running joke throughout the show.
