Congratulations are in order for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom! If you still haven’t hear, the pop star, 34, and actor, 42, got engaged. Sharing her first photo with her now-fiancé, Perry posted a close-up image of the pair surrounded by numerous heart-shaped balloons, while showing off her unique flower-shaped diamond ring, which features a hard-to-miss colorful jewel in the center.
“Full bloom,” Perry captioned the image, using a play on her husband-to-be’s name. Bloom went on to share the same image on his own Instagram, captioning the photo, “Lifetimes.”
Dishing out the details of her engagement to Bloom on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday, Feb. 25, Perry said revealed that that the proposal was elaborate. She said the pair went to dinner, after which Perry thought they were going to see an art show.
Perry also recounted how she and Bloom bonded over an In-N-Out Burger three years ago after the Golden Globes, when Bloom snatched a burger off her table. “I was like, ‘wait, who?… oh, you’re so hot, fine, take it!'” Perry said.
Bloom, 42, and Perry, 34, first started dating back in early 2016 and were pictured together several times over the next year, before reportedly breaking up in Feb. 2017. However, the two seemingly got back together later that year. Both have been married before; Perry to comedian Russell Brand in 2010, which lasted one year, with Bloom marrying actress Miranda Kerr in 2010 before splitting three years later.
