Kermit and the Muppets channel N.W.A. by performing 'Express Yourself'

We all knew that Fozzy and Kermit had street cred, but they’ve taken it to a whole new level in this dubbed video.

YouTube user Animal Robot has once again masterfully edited clips of the Muppets to create an entirely new music video for NWA’s “Express Yourself.” In this version, Fozzy Bear is no longer a failed standup, but a respected rapper. The Electric Mayhem’s sax comes in handy for some funk samples. And, Kermit and his banjo offer up some soulful vocal stylings.

Considering this track from the group’s 1988 album Straight Outta Compton actually has very few expletives or violent references, it actually kind of makes sense to have the family-friendly Muppets cover the song.
